Pat fully enjoyed spending vacations with her family members. Her family meant everything to her. She spent all her life keeping her family close and teaching them meaning of family.

Pat was also an excellent cook and was especially known for her biscuits. She and James would always show up with a basket of food when friends and loved ones needed support.

When her husband James started Rooks Overhead Garage Doors, Pat became his Office Manager. She had always grown and loved flowers in her spare time, so James built her a greenhouse in their backyard on Highway 29 in Moreland, and she began selling plants and flowers to travelers waiting in backed up traffic. This soon became her first florist and after much success she moved her Florist Shop to Newnan and ended up with Rooks’ Florist on the Square in downtown Newnan where she was well known for her Big Red Roses.
