Recent Trinity Christian School graduate Carson Beach decided to continue his baseball career in college with the Auburn University of Montgomery Warhawks this past week.

The Warhawks are under the leadership of Head Coach Marty Lovrich and compete in the Gulf South Conference. In addition to the Warhawks, the GSC includes West Georgia, Valdosta State and Shorter.

Beach had an impressive senior campaign for Head Coach Tommy Gregg and the Trinity Christian Lions. He pitched six strong innings on March 24, 2022, for a 3-1 win against region foe Brookstone on the road and also got a victory against Loganville Christian in a start.

His final performance for the Lions was a one-inning stint against Fellowship Christian in the second round of the state playoffs, where he did not allow an unearned run.

Beach shared, “Warhawk Coach Lovrich was one of the few coaches that believed in me. I really enjoyed getting to know the coaching staff while on my visit there. I also loved the fact that it’s not far from home.”

The Warhawks finished the 2022 season with a 30-21 record.
