The members of Region 1-A Private announced their 2022 All-Region honors for men’s soccer this week.
While St. Anne Pacelli’s Alex Errasti was named Player of the Year, two local players also garnered recognition.
Trinity Christian’s Wil Rinkenberger was named co-defensive player of the year with Pacelli’s Nick Gettridge, and The Heritage School's Keirnan Skelly was named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year along with Brookstone’s Joe Hilsman.
The All-Region first-team included Rinkenberger and Noah Maupin from Trinity Christian and Braxton Harper and Christian Lotter from The Heritage School.
Jalen Cunanan, Max Pendergast and Stephen Hurlock from Heritage were on the second team, along with Josh Taylor and Dylan Depriest from Trinity Christian.
Additionally, Collin Mudge, Sam Taylor and Mason Sells from Trinity Christian and
Laeth Haddad, Miles Lochore and Breaux Rusich from Heritage received honorable mentions.
