Ruth Hill Elementary School’s young men's student leadership team, the Make a Difference Team, and the young ladies student leadership team, I Am Beautiful, recently collaborated on a service project to help Backpack Buddies, an organization that supplies food for the weekend to economically disadvantaged children in Coweta County. Linda Bennett – sponsor of the IAB group – and Dwight McDaniel, Austen Martin, and Douglas Duncan –sponsors of the MAD Team – organized the effort as student leaders assisted with sorting and bagging food for families around the community.
