The Newnan Times-Herald

The Coweta STEM Institute is now enrolling students to attend Summer Camp this June and July.

Students will get to participate in robotics and coding where students have fun learning while playing with an app-enabled robotic sphere called a Sphero. Students design and construct a path containing various angles. Students learn how to program/code a Sphero to navigate the path.

Cardboard Construction will allow students to build fantastic artistic objects from boxes.

Balloon Racers give students a chance to see who can engineer the fastest balloon car.

Campers in the DIY Instruments course will build their own instruments from found materials.

Sessions available include June 13-17, West Georgia Technical College, 200 Campus Drive, Building B Newnan, GA 30263 (Grades 1-5); June 27-July 1, West Georgia Technical College, 200 Campus Drive, Building B (Grade 1-5); and July 18-22 Moreland Elementary (Grades 4-8) Lego Robotics Only.
