Ruth Hill Elementary School gifted teacher – and the Georgia Association for Gifted Children's Gifted Program Teacher of the Year – Mary Thompson was honored at the GAGC's annual convention in Athens recently. School officials said they are “so proud” of Thompson, and that “she represents our program, our school and our system” well.
