After taking a week off for the bad weather, the Coweta County Middle School Athletic League (CCMSAL) football teams were back at it Wednesday afternoon.
Smokey Road defeated Arnall 22-0 to stay undefeated.
Madras also remained undefeated with a 38-0 win over Lee Middle School.
For the Eagles, Dylan Barber threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to TaDarrion Turner and had a 65-yard touchdown run. Jet Clark and Zyair King also had touchdown runs.
On defense, Madras got interceptions from Turner and Keaton Stegall while Will Chapman and Braelin Crump had fumble recoveries. The leading tacklers were Malik Dixon, Matthew Bilton, and Cade Whitman.
The East County Middle School Indians went on the road and defeated the Blake Bass Bulldogs 38-0.
Justin Brown led the Indians with 135 yards rushing on 11 carries and two touchdowns. Terrance Webster and 47 yards rushing and a touchdown. Webster also returned an interception for a touchdown.
Other defensive stars included Marlon Elder with an interception, Jackson Hopkins with a strip sack fumble recovery and Jeremiah Brewer with four tackles.
Next week, Evans will travel to Lee, Arnall goes to East Coweta, and Bass goes to Smokey Road.
