To the so-called "urbanite" who may dare to walk their dog at the dog park or enjoy craft beer and also to the 27- year police veteran who chooses to use his public platform to remind certain people that they are not welcome around here:
I am so grateful that you made it through the storm, I am so grateful for anything that you have done over the last three weeks to put the words "Love Thy Neighbor" into living reality. You are loved and you are welcome to our beautiful county anytime. All of you.
You never know, the person that you may think is not like you, or that you may not want "around here," may be the first person at your house one day with a chainsaw to remove a tree from your bedroom. I appreciate all the angels out there, and I am so grateful to share this beautiful town with you.
Each of you are an inspiration to the next generation because it is only through them that Newnan truly becomes #NewnanStrong.
I truly hope that we learn the lessons that this storm has to teach us because I would hate to see another one. Next time, our town may not be so lucky.
With Love and Utmost Respect,
