VFW Post 2667 Commander Jeff Bouchard recently presented a certificate and a check to Keri Davis for the Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award for winning on the elementary school level for Post 2667. Davis is a teacher at Newnan Crossing Elementary School, and she was nominated by Principal Page Tarleton for promoting civic responsibility, flag etiquette and patriotism in the classroom.
