Mr. Harold H. “Peanut” Turner, 90, of Newnan passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Corinth Road Personal Care Home.

Mr. Turner was born March 3, 1930, in Newnan to the late Hal Turner & Annie Mae Whatley Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Virginia Avery Turner and sisters, Peggy Taylor and Doris Storey.

Mr. Turner grew up in Newnan and after high school, he enlisted in the Army where he served during the Korean War. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the employees and staff at Corinth Road Personal Care Home, Benton House of Newnan and Bridgeway Hospice.

A private family service has already been held. Rather than flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association,

Survivors include daughters, Tracey (Mike) Bilskie, Kitty (Ronnie) Cheek, Leigh (Tim) Moye, Rebecca (David) Holcombe; grandchildren, Beth Miller, Brian Bilskie, Lauren Cheek Plemmons, Anna Holcombe, Avery Holcombe; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
