Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly motorcycle crash on Highway 29.
Ryan Hibbard, 32, of Key West, Florida, was killed after colliding with a truck in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Hibbard was driving a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on Highway 29 when a RAM 4500 attempting to make a turn onto Johnston Circle failed to yield to the oncoming motorcycle, according to Cpl. Scott Tarpley with the Georgia State Patrol.
The truck turned and struck the motorcycle. Hibbard was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries, according to Coweta County Coroner Richard Hawk.
No alcohol or drugs were suspected to have played a part in the crash, and the incident is currently under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Crash Reconstruction Team.
