A recent letter to the Times-Herald was full of errors. I would like to deal with one of them. According to the writer, "the Obama-Biden administration had one of the most bleak economic records in American history."
That administration took over during the worst of the downturn from the housing crash resulting from Bush administration policies. If you look at a graph of any of several economic measures from 2009 to the present (stock market, jobless claims, housing starts and others), you'd see a steady improvement.
The Trump administration inherited a rising trend that started early in Obama's time. Trump can't claim credit for that improvement. If you didn't see a year scale across the bottom of those graphs, you wouldn't be able to tell when Trump took over.
