Mr. Charles “Carter” Elliott, age 75, of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020.

He served in the United States Air Force and is retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florilla Elliott; sister, Dorothy Elliott; brother, Walter R. Elliott, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Elliott; daughter, Dawn Caldwell and her husband, Craig, of Sharpsburg; son, Charles “Robert” Elliott of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Taylor Caldwell (Hailee), Kayla Sharpe (Clint), Alex Elliott, Jordan Brannon (Jonathan), Dalton Elliott; great-grandchildren, Connor Caldwell, Adilyn Sharpe, Brooklyn Brannon; sisters, Renee Nerowski (Mike), Sonia Williford, Sharon Kinnear; brother-in-laws, Clay Davis; Fred Davis (Clarice); sister-in-laws, Arlene Elder (Jerry), Wanda Mauldin (Tim); 20 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews; and their loving dog Mollie.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl O’Barr officiating.
