Coweta COVID-19 testing sites

Gov. Brian Kemp announced last week that everyone who wants to be tested for COVID-19 should get one, whether they are symptomatic or not.

As of midday Tuesday, there had been 262,179 COVID-19 tests administered in Georgia, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The following are locations where you can be tested in Coweta County for either the active COVID-19 virus or the antibodies.

Coweta County Fairgrounds

Address: 275 Pine Road, Newnan

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Type of test: nasal swab for active COVID-19

Summit Urgent Care (Hwy. 34)

Address: 1825 Hwy. 34 E, Newnan

Hours: Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Type of test: nasal swab for active COVID-19 and antibody

Peachtree Immediate Care

Address: 371 Newnan Crossing Bypass #103, Newnan

Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
