Mrs. Gloria DeVane Hall McCullers 77 of Blairsville, Ga. – formerly of Thomaston, Ga. – passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home after an extended illness.

DeVane was born on June 2, 1942 in Thomaston, the daughter of the late William Robert Hall and Francis Pauline Hardy Hall of Thomaston. DeVane was a 1960 graduate of R E Lee High School in Thomaston and was a Master Cosmetologist for many years in Thomaston.

She and her late husband Randy owned a flea market business. DeVane loved children and each new generation that came along, she became the doting Aunt DeVane. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and never met a stranger. She had a special way and love for her animals. When she was still able she enjoyed going to yard sales, bible studies and craft classes and watching Hallmark Movies. She is preceded in death by the love of her life for 49 years Randall (Randy) Jackson McCullers and an infant brother, William Frederick Hall.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law Laraine and Mike Ayers of Blairsville, nieces Holly (Alan) Mckenzie, Shannon (David) Noland, nephew Stephen Ayers, Kevin Ayers, great-nieces Arrie (Mike) Huska, Addison Ayers, great-nephews Aydan McKenzie, Logan Ayers, Great-great nephews James and Jackson Huska, and other family members and friends.

A special thank you to all the Homestead Hospice nurses, who gave her such great care and love.

A celebration of life service will be held after the Covid19 crisis has passed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church, Coosa UMC 767 Mulkey Gap Road, Blairsville, GA 30512 or the local Humane Society.
