Racing as usual: Spring Nationals come to Senoia

It will be racing as usual Friday and Saturday as the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals come to Senoia Raceway.

The event will pay $10,000 to the winner.

Previous winners at the Spring Nationals include Chris Madden, Dale McDowell, Scott Bloomquist, Donald McIntosh, Michael Page and Jonathan Davenport.

Racing will also take place in Crate Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Chargers, Hobby, Mini Stock, Bombers, Hot Shots and Legends.

On Friday, there will be an open practice in all divisions, as well as heat races in Crate Late Model, Late Model Sportsman, Hobby, Chargers, Legends, Mini Stocks and Hot Shots.

Pits open at 4 p.m. and Grandstands at 5 p.m.

Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. Pit passes are $30. Children ages 5-12 are $20. Children under the age of four are admitted for free.

Grandstand tickets are $12. Children ages 5-12 are $5. Children under the age of four are free.

Saturday’s action includes the Schaeffer’s Oil Super Nationals.

Feature races in the Crate Late Model, Late Model Sportsman, Hobby, Chargers, Bombers, Legends Min Stock and Hot Shots will also take place.

Pits open Saturday at 2 p.m. Grandstand opens at 4.

Pit passes are $35.

Children ages 5-12 are $20. Children under the age of four are admitted for free.

Grand stand tickets are $20. Children ages 5-12 are $5 and Children under the age 4 and under are admitted free.
