The last few months have been a whirlwind of change here at the paper.
In September, we rolled out a twice-a-week paper that is now being delivered through the mail. It’s been a big change for us and even more so for our readers, who were used to getting their papers four mornings a week.
Most of our readers have been kind and understanding about these changes. They know we had to change simply because we need to be able to carry on publishing into the future.
However, we’ve experienced some growing pains with this new strategy. Some papers have been delivered a day later than scheduled – sometimes, even later.
We’ve had several people cancel because of this. We understand their frustration, and we’re sorry to see them go.
As for those of you who have stuck around through this period of transition, we can’t thank you enough. Our mission at The Newnan Times-Herald remains the same – to publish a quality product filled with local content that is verified and true.
We’re now publishing two amazing papers each week, filled with features, news, photos and exclusively local content. For $1, you won’t find anything close to what our Wednesday paper offers.
When you’re not happy with your product, we’re not happy. Every single customer matters and we’re grateful to each and every one of you. We’re working hard to make sure you receive these great papers in a timely manner.
As we move forward, we hope to have many of these issues resolved. We’re working on new problem-solving strategies every day.
Moving past Thanksgiving and into Christmas, we’re truly grateful for those of you who have supported The Newnan Times-Herald through renewing a subscription, or by being patient while we try to resolve an issue regarding delivery.
We are thankful for you, our readers.
