The Trinity Christian Lady Lions softball team improved to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in Region 5-1A Monday afternoon with a dominating 18-3 victory road victory against Galloway.
Trinity led 5-2 after the first inning, and then exploded for runs the rest of the way, winning the league contest in a game called after four innings.
Trinity out hit Galloway 18-3 for their third win in a row.
After taking control of the game in the first inning, the Lady Lions added three runs in the second, two in the third and eight in the fourth.
Galloway added is final run in the bottom of the fourth.
Claire Carson paced the offense with three doubles and three RBIs.
Jordan Boyd and Ambry Lucas each tripled.
Carson finished the game with four RBIs from the lead off spot.
Brianna Huff also finished with four RBIs.
Laney Armistead and Boyd also had three RBIs.
Lucas and Boyd also had an RBI.
Brianna Huff allowed two hits and struck out four. Boyd struckout one in one in of work from the pitching circle.
