Four individuals were arrested Thursday following the search of a Newnan home by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
The search occurred around 6 a.m. when members of the Atlanta ATF, with the assistance of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, entered a home at 69 Roscoe Road.
Members of the ATF initially arrived to serve an arrest warrant for Antonio Lamont Head for charges stemming from a search of the home in May 2018, when investigators reportedly recovered suspected methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana, along with a Smith and Wesson SD40 handgun and two sawed-off shotguns.
During Thursday’s search of the home, investigators found more suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, according to Sgt. Edwin Rivera with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
Head was arrested on charges of methamphetamine possession, and on the previous warrant for firearms and drugs.
Along with Head, three other individuals inside the home were arrested and transported to the Coweta County Jail.
Steven Merfalem was charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, and on an outstanding violation of probation warrant.
Kimberly Lynch was charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence after she reportedly attempted to flush drugs down the toilet, according to Rivera.
Blake Abercrombie was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence.
