Film crews working in Newnan next week will require traffic control along Greenville Street from Spence Avenue to Nimmons Street.
The prep work and shooting of scenes will occur from Tuesday, Aug. 13 to Wednesday Aug. 21, according to a press release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
When the crews are unloading or loading their equipment at the site, signal flaggers will be in place to close one lane of traffic around their work zone and maneuver traffic to the remaining open lane.
On the days when the crews will be shooting scenes, Saturday, Aug. 17 through Tuesday, Aug. 20, law enforcement will install full closures of all lanes when needed for the production.
The full closures will not be continuous, and when the workers are not actively shooting scenes traffic will be allowed to proceed with caution.
Motorists are urged to be alert when approaching the location and to watch for the direction of the signal flaggers and law enforcement officers.
Drivers should be patient while waiting or driving carefully through the work zone.
