The city of Newnan has rescheduled the annual Christmas Parade. The parade will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 6 p.m.
The original parade scheduled for December 8 was rescheduled due to predicted inclement weather, according to Ashley Copeland, communications manager for the city of Newnan.
“The decision to reschedule the parade was not an easy decision to make, but the decision was made for the safety and protection of all of those participating and attending,” Copeland said.
The route for the parade will remain the same, beginning at Armory Road and travel against traffic on LaGrange Street, making a right hand turn on North Court Square going around the square to turn right on East Court Square, ending at Greenville Street.
