Jordan Ashley Honeycutt, 25, from Newnan, Georgia, died on May 25, 2017, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Jordan is survived by her parents, Jessica and Robert Allen, and Judah Isaac Allen, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is further survived by the following maternal family members: grandfather, Joe Moore Honeycutt; grandmother, Wanda Kellogg Honeycutt; aunt, Jennifer Flurry Bowen and cousin Logan Flurry; aunt, JoAnne Broetzmann (married to Daniel Broetzmann) and cousins Oliver and Henry; uncle Justin Honeycutt (married to Robyn Honeycutt) and cousins Kaitlyn and Hannah; aunt Janice Neville (married to Miles Neville) and cousin Lauren Honeycutt; uncle Jason Honeycutt and cousin Sienna Honeycutt; and aunt Joy Scott (married to Thomas Scott) and cousin Brenson Shaw. Jordan is also survived by numerous paternal family members, who loved and supported her throughout her short life.
Jordan was known to all as a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, who remember her as a genuine and beautiful person inside and out. She loved writing, listening to music, laughing out loud, and talking incessantly to anyone and everyone around. Jordan was a bright light to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by her countless family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Southside Church, 1821 Highway 34 East, Newnan, Georgia, with Greg McEvoy officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, 1 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, Georgia.
