Jane Cranford Donnahoo-Smith of Newnan Georgia, born May 18, 1931 passed away on her 86th birthday Thursday May 18, 2017.

Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Jane was a graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg S.C.

She and William “Bill” Donnahoo married and moved to Albany to start their new family together. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Tifton and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Albany, where she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday School, and a member of their “Winsome” group.

Jane enjoyed teaching school in Georgia for 20 years. She lived in Albany, Georgia for many years before moving to Pensacola, Tifton and Newnan. In her younger days with her family of six, she always enjoyed the outdoors and the family went camping all the time. Gardening, hiking and just being outdoors were some of her favorite pastimes.

Jane always had a loving smile and friendly word for everyone she met. Jane loved to travel with her friends and family and enjoyed trips to the beach, mountains, Holy Land, Europe and the Caribbean. We miss her and will treasure memories of her kind, loving, generous and courageous spirit.

Please join us for a Memorial Service at Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel, 1903 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31707, in Albany Georgia on Saturday, June 3 at 1 p.m.
