Mr. Lawrence Burns spoke a lot about lying in his letter to the editor.
He never mentioned the big one, “If you like you doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
Remember that one by then-President Obama, repeated many times before the passage of the Obamacare. I judge people by what they do, not what they say.
I liked most of what Barack Obama said but was vastly disappointed by most of what he did. I dislike much of what Donald Trump says but greatly approve nearly everything he does.
About the press Mr. Burns is right. A free press is necessary for a free society. But a press that distorts headlines, twists facts, embellishes and ignores all to push the agenda of one political party is indeed the enemy of a free people. I expect fair and honest reporting.
Is Donald Trump big-headed, narcissistic, combative and exaggerates? Yes, no doubt, but he fights. He doesn’t kick the can down the road. He gets things done, and I support him 100 percent.
