Danny Irvin Kee was a very wise and humble man.
His life began on May 20, 1947 as he was the second child born of the late Harvey Clinton and Eva Astalee Jones Kee. On Sunday, July 7, 2019 a golden heart stopped beating. God saw him getting tired and whispered, “Come with Me.”
Danny took great pride and joy in being a dedicated husband, dad and Paw-Paw. He enjoyed driving trucks and retired from Foley Concrete Company. He loved his family and spending time with his great grandkids. They enjoyed talking, playing, driving, yardwork and watching Nascar together. They always lit his face up with joy. He was the most loving, understanding and patient man.
Danny is survived by his wife, Mattie Kee; children, Marsha (Roger) Hebert, Donna (Ferrell) Garrett, Robert Adams; grandchildren, Jevon (Kaley) Hebert, Rachel Sivell, Heather (Chris) Cleveland, Daniel Garrett; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Raylan, Kaylee, Dylan, Alyssa, Hunter, Kaiden and Sophia. Danny is also survived by his siblings, Charles Kee and Karey (Johnny) Murphy.
The funeral service celebrating the life Danny lived is Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.
