St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has awarded the Mary Kate Parks Mason Scholarship to four students.

Mason was a long-term St. Paul's parishioner who was a champion of young people as a friend and teacher and believed very strongly that adults must do all in their power to open doors of opportunity for young men and women.

Mason left a bequest to establish a scholarship fund at St. Paul's for young women and men seeking the benefits of a higher education.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Madison Brown, University of West Georgia; Peyton Hopkins, Montana State University; Sarah Paschal, Georgia Institute of Technology; and Elise Wendelburg, Rollins College.
