Mr. Herbert Bradford Keith, Jr., 77, of Newnan, Ga. passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Keith was born on February 11, 1942 in Chattanooga, Tenn. to the late Herbert Bradford Keith, Sr. and the late Anna Mae Gaston Keith. He was a teacher and later a principal at West Side High School in Tunnel Hill, Ga. then took a data processing job with Barwick Carpet Company. After some time, he took a management job with Yokagawa and moved to Newnan, Ga.
Later, he became a wood craftsman and through his business, Wood N’ Strokes, sold furniture and folk art at craft shows and fairs. He is preceded in death by a wife, Marcia Keith.
He is survived by his present wife, Mary Keith; a son, Brad Keith and his wife Angie; a daughter, Jennifer Keith and her husband Jamey Anderson; a brother, Jim Keith and his wife Cecile; stepdaughters, Mary Anne Kendricks and her husband Bobby, Lena King and her husband Chad, Jessica Brewer and her husband Matt, Marie Castleberry and her husband Chad; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Keith will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
