Frances Hammock Pollard, 94, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at her home in Senoia.
She was born July 16, 1924 in Sharpsburg to the late Alvin Hammock and Clessie Phillips Hammock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, James “J.T.” Pollard;, her second husband of five years, Howell Cook; and her grandson, Benjamin Trammell. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Hammock, Maurice Hammock and Phillip Hammock.
Frances graduated from Starr High School and was a licensed practical nurse at Newnan Hospital until her retirement. She was a longtime member of Senoia United Methodist Church.
The graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Senoia City Cemetery with Rev. Ron Whitlock officiating. Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or www.stjude.org
