Southern Crescent Chorale will be joined by Coweta musicians for a benefit concert on Saturday.

The concert will be held at Flat Creek Baptist Church, 161 Flat Creek Trail, Fayetteville. The 7 p.m. event will benefit children and family programs at Christian City, a faith-based ministry that serves children and senior adult in Union City.

Donations will be accepted. Southern Crescent Chorale will be joined by the Masterworks Chorale and the East Coweta Chamber Choir.

Children arrive at Christian City from a variety of backgrounds and trauma, but they all receive a welcoming place where they know they are valued, important and loved. In addition, Christian City is a National Safe Place agency, providing care and short-term housing for homeless and runaway children.

Christian City also operates Crossroads program for foster care and adoption.
