Prostitution sting nets seven arrests

Seven people have been arrested in a Coweta County prostitution sting.

The joint operation of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security began on Jan. 31 and ended in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.

Agents contacted females who posted personal ads on adult websites, according to Investigator Jonathan Keeble with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

The sting was set up at the SpringHill Suites on 1119 Bullsboro Drive. An undercover agent would agree on a price and services with a woman before taking her into custody, authorities said.

Four women were arrested for prostitution and three other people were charged with pimping or being a party to a crime.

Keeble said the primary goal of the operation is to curtail sex trafficking in the area. All information gathered during the sting was passed along to the Department of Homeland Security, which will continue the investigation.

The following suspects were arrested during the sting:

Jennifer Archer – prostitution, possession of cocaine, giving a false name to officers

Estee Manuel – prostitution, giving a false name to officers

Catherine Kendall – prostitution

Annesha Campbell – party to a crime

Keturrah Callaway – party to a crime

Angelique Martin-Marietta – prostitution

Kalvin Parker – pimping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, driving while license suspended
