Sound Off

The Newnan Times-Herald

Rain or shine, the new year is off to a good start. Hope Coweta and Cowetans flourish in 2019.

The government shut down again. Workers not sure when they will get paid or how they will make it. A cloud cast over the holidays, which should be a happy time. All for one man’s petulant pout. Pitiful.

Walmart gave employees Christmas day off, but took eight hours from their vacation time. Many don't even work eight hours. Walmart’s slogan is “take care of our employees.” Thanks, Walmart.

“Fourteen people! All Trumps family” “now connected to Russian Nationals.” So are you now. You just submitted a Sound Off. Having a conversation is now a connection according to you and Mueller.

Since Democrats voted earlier this year for $25 billion for border security, why won't they compromise with Republicans and vote to fund the Government?

Some illegal immigrants do pay Social Security and income taxes because they have forged Social Security cards. They’ll never benefit from those Social Security taxes.

Most jobs have raised their minimum wages to $15 an hour now. It’s worth it. We are way behind. When you give people a raise, you don’t really lose anything. Because most people, when they get a raise, they turn out more work per hour.

Straight from the DNC playbook, "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propaganda Minister.
