Advanced Technology Logistics Inc (ATL), a local company, has contracted with the White House to provide building operations and services to the executive branch of the government.
“We provide professional services,” said Levi Robinson, president and CEO of ATL. “We do nurses, IT and facility maintenance, which is the contract we have at the White House.”
Robinson said his company pursued the contract against 36 competitors.
“We won it. ATL won it,” he said.
According to Robinson, ATL will supply engineers, locksmiths, electricians and woodworkers to the White House to manage temperatures, elevators and maintenance to make sure the building is operational.
Through the contract, most of the workers will be from the Washington, D.C., area but about 10 percent will be based in ATL’s Newnan corporate office, said Robinson.
“All of the employees belong to my company,” Robinson said. “These are guys that provide services mostly as boots on the ground.”
Robinson said ATL’s contract is something to celebrate for the county.
“It’s something to celebrate that Coweta County has a small company providing services to the White House,” he said.
According to Robinson, the current government shutdown does not affect his company’s contract.
“We’re in good shape. All of my contracts are good,” he said.
ATL was ranked among the Top 5,000 Businesses for 2017 by the Inc. 5000 website.
