My mom has always been there for me and my siblings. After my father’s death, me, my brother and my sister never lacked anything. My brother and I were both in college after my father’s death and whatever we needed, she made it happen. She neglects herself all the time to makes others happy. She is an excellent cook and is well-known for her famous pound cakes. She enjoys planning family events with her brothers and sister and is very active in her church, Clark Chapel United Methodist Church in Luthersville. She worked tirelessly for the Coweta County School System at Northside Elementary, where she retired a few years ago. She loves the children and still substitute teaches. Our family would not be the same without her. My brother and I are the strong men we are today and my sister is the strong woman she is today because of our mother.
