Mrs. Edna C. Barber, 92, of Grantville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at her home.

Mrs. Barber was born March 12, 1926, in Fitzgerald, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Thelma Holtzclaw Campbell.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed by West Point Pepperell in Grantville and at Mae’s Florist. She also operated her own florist in Greenville and delivered homebound meals in Hogansville until 2006. Mrs. Barber enjoyed making arts and crafts items and exhibited her work at many area festivals.

Survivors include her sons, Ray Barber and Dennis Barber, both of Grantville;  grandchildren, Edgar Barber, Donna Dean, Scott Barber, Dwayne Barber, Shane Barber, Neal Barber, Amy Hendrix, Ann Barber and Frank Barber and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Barber and her son, Edwin Barber.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Interment will be held at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6– 8 p.m. Monday.
