White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2796 Gordon Road, Senoia will hold its annual Fall Barbecue on Saturday.

Prices will be $10 for a plate, for a quart of stew or for a pound of barbecued pork. There also will be homemade desserts available.

All proceeds will go to support a mission hospital.

Homecoming will be held Sunday at Sunnyside Baptist Church.

The services will start at 10:45 a.m. Danny Wilson, associate pastor, will bring the message.

Church member Linda Pike said there will be singing by Mandy Brown and her daughter, Sarah Brown. A covered dish meal will follow the service.

Dr. Andrew Owensby is the new pastor at First Baptist Church in Franklin.

Joining Owensby in the new avenue of ministry are his wife, Amber, and their children – Jack and Norah.

Monica Johnson was recently recognized for five years of service as youth minister at First Baptist Church in Hogansville.

Pastor Greg Morris presented her with a plaque from the church, thanking her for her service. The plaque was presented on Sept. 2.
