Two inmates remain on the run after escaping from the Troup County Jail.

Thomas Christopher Cuddington, 28, and Eric Calvin Bell, 28, are believed to have climbed down from a drain pipe in the front of the Troup County Sheriff’s Office around 11 p.m. last night and were last seen running up Sam Walker Drive towards Hamilton Road, according to a press release sent out by the sheriff’s office.

Both men have not been seen since. Investigators said the case remains ongoing and further details will be released.

Cuddington is described as a white male, 5’8, 150 pounds, with a last known address of 1506 Phillips Rd., in Warm Springs.

He was in jail because of several drug, obstruction and traffic charges, according to Sgt. Stewart Smith, public information officer with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office.

Bell is a black male, 5’9, 135 pounds, with a last known address of 4006 Old West Point Rd., LaGrange. He was previously charged with several drug and criminal trespass charges, Bell said.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Troup County 911 or contact the Troup County Sheriff’s Office at 706-883-1616.
