I am nominating my dad, Bryant Warner Jr. – or “June,” as some may call him – for Senior of the Week. I admire my dad so much because of his business resilience and smarts. He has been in business over 40 years as a residential/commercial painter for his family business, Bryant Warner & Sons, which he still operates today. Not only did he help provide for his children, but he has also been a pillar of support for his grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. I must also mention how he made sure his mother had care for years so she could live the majority of her senior years in the comfort of her home while battling Alzheimer's disease. He has always taught us the value of hard work and right from wrong. He hates to see anyone hungry. He enjoys helping plan family gatherings and meals with his siblings and my mother. Our family would not be the same without him. He is an active member of Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church in Luthersville, where he sings in the senior choir, is a steward and a trustee.
