Rehoboth Baptist Church, 155 N. Main St., Luthersville is looking for vendors for its Church Yard Sale and Craft Sale.

Russell Temple AME Church will hold its August Festival on Saturday.

Hours for the event are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Barbecue rib plates will be available for sale.

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Bear Creek Road, Moreland, will hold its homecoming on Sunday.

The theme is “Remembering the old landmark.” The service will start at 10 a.m. with Dr. Kenneth G. Bailey, pastor of White Oak Grove Baptist Church near Senoia, preaching.

Revival services will be Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. Chris L. McCambry, pastor of Greater Jehovah Baptist Church in Grantville, will be the evangelist.

Ramah First Baptist Church, 502 Ramah Drive, Palmetto, will celebrated its 190th homecoming on Sunday.

The service will start at 10:30 a.m. with the Line Creek Bluegrass group singing. Katie Hearn will speak on God’s faithfulness when she lost her sight.

A covered dish meal will follow.

Clifford Davis, pastor of the church, will bring the message. Revival will be Wednesday-Friday at 7 p.m. with Milton Holston preaching.

Summer Hill Baptist Church, 95 Turkey Creek Road, will be holding homecoming and revival.

Homecoming will be Sunday at 11 a.m. J.T. Coleman, pastor emeritus, will bring the message.

Revival at Summer Hill will be Monday-Friday at 7 p.m. Eddie Collier, pastor of County Line Baptist Church in Jackson, is the scheduled preacher.

Powell Chapel United Methodist Church, 586 Old Atlanta Hwy., will hold homecoming on Sunday at 11 a.m. 

Revival will follow from Tuesday-Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Powell Chapel Young Adult Choir Anniversary will be Aug. 26 at 9 a.m. 

The church is also planning to resume Bible study for all ages on Sept. 5. Bible study will be each Wednesday from 7-8 p.m.

A Covenant Discipleship Study will begin Tuesday at Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Lone Oak.

The group will use the book, "A Disciple's Heart" by James A. Harnish. Harnish is a Methodist pastor, writer and blogger.

The class will run for six weeks, starting at 6:30 p.m., and will last about an hour.

Sardis Baptist Church, 8400 Sardis Church Road, Chattahoochee Hills celebrated homecoming Aug. 5, followed by dinner on the grounds and an afternoon memorial service.

Revival was held at Sardis from Aug. 6-8. Philip Johnson was the revival preacher.

A set of paraments used for many years at Newnan Presbyterian Church have been presented to a church in Mexico.

A mission team from Newnan Presbyterian presented the paraments to Mision
Presbiteriana Seguidores de Cristo in Sitpach, Mérida, Mexico. Leaders in the church in Mexico had requested a set of paraments to mark the liturgical calendar.
