Andy Whitlock, of the founding members of the Job Networking Group, said job seekers should come prepared with several copies of recent resumes.

“They should dress for success, and be prepared to interview for jobs on the spot,” Whitlock said in an email statement.

The networking group and its partners hosted a Spring Job Fair in April. Carole Ann Fields with Goodwill said 368 jobseekers attended that job fair.

Since 2003, The Job Networking Group has been helping unemployed Cowetans get back to work. Organizers changed the group’s format to focus on hosting job fairs instead of monthly meetings because of the rise in employment.
