Sue and her husband Bill have only been members of the Newnan community for slightly over a decade, but she has been a quiet contributor to our community since she arrived. The Searses moved here in order to assist in the care of their grandchildren, and Sue immediately reached out to the community. She has served to assist OneRoof through donations and time. She volunteers at The Rutledge Center and teaches important skills. She is a member of the Optimist Club of Newnan - again focusing on the needs of children. This photo was one I took of her as she helped volunteers from Coweta County Cattlemen's Association (of which her husband is a member) when we cooked and served hamburgers and hotdogs at the Farm Fun Day at the LOGOS Ranch. It is the quiet contributors like Sue who make our community great -- by the way, I told Bill that I was going to nominate her, and Sue immediately sent me an email advising that there were many more deserving individuals. I disagree!
