Sunnyside announces plans for VBS in July

Sunnyside Baptist Church has announced plans for Vacation Bible School in July.

The church will use the “Game On” VBS curriculum. Dates are July 9-11, which church member Linda Pike noted is “a week earlier than usual.”

Starting time on July 9 will be 6 p.m., with a 6:30 start the other nights. Sessions will end at 8:30 p.m. Classes will be fore age 3-12.

“All VBS activities are taking place behind the church in the basement,” Pike said.

Vacation Bible Schools on the calendar for the coming week are:

•Sunday-Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Moreland United Methodist Church, 16 Church St., Moreland. Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.

•Sunday-Friday, 5:30-8:45 p.m. Mills Chapel Baptist Church, Highway 29. Age 3-grade 6. Game On.

•Monday-Wednesday, Trinity Baptist Church, Franklin Highway. Ages 2-12. Giddy-Up With God.

•Monday-Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Welcome Road Baptist Church, 163 Welcome Road, Ages 3-12. Camp Moose on the Loose.

•Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-noon. Unity Baptist Church, 311 Smokey Road. Game On.

•Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-noon, White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2796 Gordon Road, Senoia. Age 3-completed sixth grade. The 7 "I Am" Statements of Jesus from John 6-15.

•Monday-Friday, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church, 72 Robinson St. Pre-K-age 15. Rolling River Rampage: Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God.

•Monday-Friday, 6-8 p.m., Powell Chapel United Methodist Church, 586 Old Atlanta Hwy. Ages 4-18. 24/7 Jesus Makes a Way Everyday.

•Monday-Friday, 6-8 p.m., China Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Senoia. Game On.

•June 30, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Antioch Baptist Church, Woodbury. Polar Blast.
