The Grantville Senior Center’s quilting group is raffling off a quilt they made to raise money to repair their bus.

The group spent three months working on the quilt and they had it framed, according to JoAnn Byrom of the Grantville Senior Center.

The tickets are $1, but if you buy five, you get one free, according to Byrom. They will be sold at the Senior Center, and the winning ticket will be drawn on July 16.

The center is hoping sales from the raffle will help them with some maintenance they need on their bus, which they use to travel to activities, according to Byrom. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Some places the Grantille senior group has gone recently include the LaGrange Mall and Farmer’s Market, as well as a casino in Wetumpka, Ala.
