Hawks trio join Loris as All-State boys soccer selections

The Heritage Hawks soccer team has put together a successful campaign the past two years with trips to the GISA Class AAA Final Four in Macon.

After losing to five-time state champion Westminster last Friday at Mercer University in Macon in the Class AAA semifinals, dividends are now being cashed in in the form of GISA All-State and All-Region 1-AAA honors.

Senior Zach Robinson, a five-year member of the Hawks after joining the team in eighth grade, closed out his high school career with a spot on the all-state team

Also earning top soccer honors for the Hawks is senior Chris Gmeiner, and junior goaltender Zack Hunt.

From, Cristian Loris made the all-state team. Loris joins his sister, who earned all-state honors on the girls team for the Lady Lions.

Robinson, Gmeiner and Hunt also earned a place on the All-Region 1-AAA team.

Senior Hayes Burns, Gridley Penegrast and Peter Nell also were voted on two the All-Region team.

Sean Davis joins Loris on the All-Region 1-AAA team from Trinity.
