French gun laws don’t keep people safe

French punitive anti-gun laws ban guns.

With the exception of highly regulated hunting rifles, it is virtually impossible for private citizens to obtain a firearm in France.  Same for most of the rest of anti-gun Europe (European Firearms Directive).

“Deja vu all over again?”  Hitler easily occupied Europe by outlawing and confiscating guns.

The Muslim terrorist obviously did not follow the French gun-ban when he killed four, including a police officer, in a recent supermarket hostage standoff.  If this happened in England, the bobbies could have scared away the Islamist terrorist with their batons as they tried on London Bridge.

The only “good guy with a gun” French cop gave up his gun, exchanged himself for a hostage and got himself killed.

Another example of “People gonna die!” by onerous symbolism over substance anti-gun laws.
