Someone is $50,000 richer - and may not even know it.
Georgia Lottery officials said a winning Powerball ticket was bought at the
Coweta County Junction Store at 1502 Highway 29 N. in Newnan. The ticket was purchased for the drawing on March 3.
As of Thursday morning, no one had come forward to claim the $50,000 prize.
A second ticket containing the winning numbers was also sold at the Food Mart in Conyers, said Lottery officials.
The winner claimed the Conyers ticket on Tuesday.
In Georgia, Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
The winning numbers for the March 3 drawing were: 13-17-25-36-40; the Powerball was 5.
