Prior to rainouts that washed out Tuesday's schedule, East Coweta and Northgate earned baseball wins on Monday, including the Vikings opening their Region 5-6A schedule in a 7-0 shutout victory over Mays at home.
Northgate pitcher Ryder Willard tossed a no-hitter and struck out 18.
The Vikings (8-2) scored two runs in the first, three in the second, one in the third and one in the sixth.
Northgate finished with 10 hits, getting two each from Connor Fortner and Noah Aaron.
Aaron also drove in two RBIs.
Fortner, Bevil and Robert Smith each drove in a run from the top three spots in the batting order.
Willard also helped his own cause with an RBI.
Northgate, which split a doubleheader with Greenbrier and Pierce County on Saturday, travels to Mays today.
The Vikings defeated Pierce County 8-1 after falling to Greenbrier 18-7.
EAST COWETA 6, GRIFFIN 5: The Indians defeated visiting Griffin on on a walkoff balk call with two outs, allowing Jeff Sangster to score.
Daniel Smith picked up the win from the mound, pitching 2 ⅓ innings and striking out three in relief for East Coweta (6-4).
Griffin broke on top with two runs in the top of the first before East Coweta scored five times in the bottom of the inning.
The Bears tied the game after scoring on once in the second and twice in the fifth.
East Coweta finished the contest with five hits. Ryan Dyal led the offense with a double and a triple.
Sangster finished the game with two RBIs.
Tuesday's two Region 2-7A games including the Indians and Newnan were both postponed.
Newnan spl it two games on Saturday, beating Starr's Mill 3-2 in a walkoff.
