On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Coweta Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney J. Herbert Cranford Jr. of Newnan on his appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve as the circuit’s district attorney.
As district attorney, Mr. Cranford will benefit from his five-plus years of experience in the legal profession, all of which have been as a prosecutor of criminal cases in Carroll, Coweta, Heard, Meriwether and Troup counties.
Georgia’s district attorneys fulfill an important responsibility in our criminal courts. We wish Mr. Cranford well in this new capacity of leadership in the justice system.
Brian D. “Buck” Rogers
