Democrats show dark side at State of the Union

President Trump’s State of the Union address celebrated those achieving the American Dream as “Americans are dreamers, too.”

He demonstrated strong leadership reminiscent of President Reagan’s “a shining city on a hill.”

By contrast Joe Kennedy-D-MA in his Democrat rebuttal spoke of darkness, despair and the worst of the human condition. Black Lives Matter and others mired in the abysmal antisocial abyss of victimhood were celebrated.

Democrats obviously believe that Kennedy is their poster boy coming to the rescue.

Recent history indicates otherwise. Americans have had their fill of the Kennedys, Clintons and Bushs.

Nancy Pelosi spent the night sitting and sucking on her gums. Chuck Schumer, signature smirk on his face, contemplating his naval. Elizabeth Warren stiff, sullen and perplexed.

Most, not all, Democrat members of Congress reconfirmed their intention to “resist.” President Trump further solidified his connection with the American people, even many Democrats.

Most would agree that he can keep his day job.
