On the evening of Monday, January 1, 2018, God gently called his faithful servant, Windle Lee Hite, to his home in heaven.
Windle was a native of Newnan and Coweta County. He was born August 6, 1947 and was the son of the late Robert E. Lee and Lois Gertrude Pollard Hite, both of whom predeceased him.
At the time of his retirement, Windle was a manager of information technology with Delta Airlines. He was a faithful member of College Heights Baptist Church and served on the board of Immanuel Bible College and Theological Seminary.
Windle shared 52 years of wonderful marriage with his wife, Faye Patterson Hite.
He was an exemplary father to his son Scott and his wife, Suzanne, Hite. He cherished his granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Hite.
Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street where the family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 4 between 6-8 p.m. His life will be remembered in a service on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2 p.m., led by Dr. James Stewart. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City.
