Government removed incentive to improve

Many wander through life wondering what it is all about, watching with jealous eyes those though born in poverty keep trying until they rise and become useful self-sustaining contributors to society.

Why, has puzzled me for much of my adult life. If some can, why not most? I personally think being raised by caring, loving parents has much to do with a child's life as they grow into adulthood.

Negligent uncaring parents who sit back and expect others to provide for their every need raise children with the same expectations. Welfare has been and is responsible for many of the problems in our country today. Being born poor and needy should give one incentive to better themselves, yet many firmly believe that it is OK for the government to take from those who have educated themselves, worked, sacrificed and kept trying until they got it right, and then give to those who only expect and want.

Our government has grown much faster than our population. The government has taken over such a large part of our lives many believe that without government they would fail. They seem unaware that the people formed the government to serve. Instead, they look to the government as a solution to their every whim, desire and need, never realizing that government is made up of many greedy, egotistical, self-serving parasiticals who would fail in the real World.

Politicians trade favors for votes not seeming to care about the long term effects. Patriots legislate for the good of people and Country.
